Cd command changes directory


cd by itself puts you in home directory

cd . will leave you in the same directory you are currently in

cd .. will move you up one directory

cd - will switch you to the previous directory

pwd command : Print working directory-Shows full path of a folder where we are currently working.

Ls command used to list files


To show colors type --color=always (colors represent different aspects of the files in the listing)
